This book contains Folio drawings of the equipment that was running during the timeframe where much of the prewar rolling stock was being replaced due to age.
Also there were a number of innovative solutions to customer needs that required specialized equipment that was also brought into service during this era.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could
recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing.
Also included is an excerpt from the Jan. 1965 Official Railway Equipment Register.
This book contains 77 pages with 146 illustrations, drawings, & tables.
