This book contains Folio drawings of the equipment that was running during the immediate post WW-2 era on the ACL. Much of the equipment was built during
or just preceding the the war and while it served well, many new innovations were
just starting to creep into the industry by this time. In many cases the crews
running these trains had just recently been released from military service as well
as service in the Military Railway System so these drawings were especially necessary to help those returning servicemen get caught up to the present.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could
recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing.
This book has 61 pages with 61 folios & tables.
