This first volume of a four volume series shows views of the
Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad along with the surrounding towns,
villages, and businesses that depended upon the railroad. Many of the scenes
shown in here are long gone, only to be seen here. These books are a valuable reference for modelers, railfans, historians, and those interested in Maine.

Included for the first time in print are excerpts from the actual Receiver's Final Inventory of the road which in many cases includes dimensions and conditions of structures, along with furnishings and equipment in those buildings at the end.

This book has 106 pages, 235 B&W photos, and 10 assorted drawings and trackplans.
This book is spiral bound so it lays flat and has heavy duty, full cover, paper covers and is
8 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
